Rhonda Hamilton – Children's Minister

Rhonda is a single mom of two, assistant principal at Glen Oaks Elementary School and member of FBC Tom Bean since 7th grade. She began her ministry at FBC Tom Bean in October 2008 and believes the purpose of children's ministry is to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children.

Rhonda graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. She has also earned a Master's Degree in Special Education from Texas A&M-Commerce and a 2nd Master's Degree in Instructional Leadership from Dallas Baptist University.

Rhonda lives in McKinney with her son, Tanner, and two dogs, Bentley and Max. Her daughter, Loren, attends Texas State University in San Marcos. Rhonda enjoys reading, crafting, traveling, and watching HGTV's House Hunters International.

Our Mission

First Baptist Church of Tom Bean is a Christ centered community of faith dedicated to making lifelong, fully-devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

OBJECTIVES

Our focus is for every disciple to have a real reliance upon God for all things in their lives.

Our focus is for every disciple to have a real respect for the things of God and each other

Our focus is for every disciple to have a real relationship with God and each other where accountability and transparency are the norms.

Our focus is to be healthy so that every disciple is in a right relationship with God and one another

Our focus is to be effective so that every disciple operates Scripture to carry out God's plan for our church.

Our focus is to be missional so that every disciple actively lives out and shares the gospel in their sphere of influence.
